This form has been prepared under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts to inform the consumer before a distance contract is concluded. You will be asked to confirm that you have read this form at the payment step.

2. Essential Characteristics of the Service

The service is a car rental reservation made through Kalkan Nirvana Rent a Car. The make and model of the rented vehicle, the rental period, the pick-up and drop-off dates and locations, the selected insurance package and any extras are shown separately on the reservation summary page, on the payment screen and in the e-mails sent to you. That information forms an integral part of this form.

A vehicle of the class stated in the reservation is allocated. The make/model may vary within the same class.

3. Total Price and Payment

The total price including taxes, the amounts for extras and insurance, and any discounts are itemised on the reservation summary. Where amounts are displayed in another currency, their Turkish Lira equivalent is stated on the payment screen; payment is collected in Turkish Lira.

No payment is taken when the reservation is created. Once we have approved your request you will be sent a payment link and a payment deadline. Depending on the business's preference, the full amount or a part of it (a deposit) may be collected online, with the balance payable at vehicle pick-up. No online payment is collected for reservations approved as "payable at the office".

Online payments are taken with 3D Secure verification. Your card details are not stored by us. If payment is not made by the deadline the reservation is cancelled automatically and the vehicle is released for sale again.

At vehicle pick-up a security deposit, the amount of which depends on the vehicle segment, may be blocked on your credit card as a pre-authorisation; it is released when the vehicle is returned in accordance with the agreement.

4. Method and Time of Performance

The service is performed by handing the vehicle over to the renter at the location, date and time stated in the reservation. A valid ID card or passport and a driving licence must be presented at pick-up.

5. Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 15 of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the consumer has no right of withdrawal from car rental contracts that are to be performed on a specific date or within a specific period. The seller nevertheless allows cancellation and refunds within the rules set out on the Cancellation and Refund Policy page.

In the event of a dispute you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee in your place of residence within the monetary limits announced each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Courts for disputes above that limit.

7. Validity

The prices and conditions in this form remain valid until the payment deadline notified to you once your reservation has been approved.
